Encounters with Canada gathers and uses your personal information in order to provide you with the services you have requested from us. Encounters with Canada will not provide or sell personal information to any third parties.

Use of personal information
If you choose to provide us with personal information, it will be used to register you in our programs, to send you publications and news releases in fields that might be of interest to you, or to invite you to special Encounters with Canada events or programs offered by the Historica-Dominion Institute. We may also use your personal information to improve our communications with you.
We reserve the right to use any content posted on our website (text, graphics, video, audio) for promotional purposes in other places on our website.
Disclosure
Encounters with Canada will not disclose your personal information to anyone without your prior knowledge or consent, except when required by law. We can exchange your personal information with third parties that provide services on our behalf, such as our travel agent for transportation tickets or our label-printing supplier for our mailings.
