Youth Registration

So you've read our FAQs and have decided you want to experience EWC. Outstanding! You won't regret it!

Remember!

To participate in the Encounters with Canada program, you must:

• be 14 to 17 years of age when you take part
• be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant
• be enrolled in an educational institution recognized by the Ministry of Education in your province or territory
• obtain authorization from a parent or guardian
• obtain a recommendation from your school

Registration is easy!

• You'll need an Access Code from an EWC regional coordinator to access our online registration form! Visit your school's guidance counsellor (or teacher representative) for the name and phone number of your EWC regional coordinator, contact us at 1-800-361-0419, extension 229, for this information, or email us at: registrar-registraire@historica-dominion.ca
• Use your Access Code to gain access to our easy My Encounters online Registration Form! Further registration information and important planning tips are available in My Encounters. 

Selection of participants in each region is made on the recommendation of school authorities in every province and territory. Space is limited due to heavy demand, so register today! EWC strives to have youth reps from every province and territory each week.Ttherefore, the number of participants eligible for each area is set on a pro-rata basis.

NOTE:  Please only register once!

My Encounters will save your information between each visit.  If you have chosen a username and password as part of the registration process, do not enter your access code again, even if your registration is not complete. Login using your username and password to access your information and complete your registration.

Teacher-monitor Registration

Use the following Access Code to register online on My Encounters today!  (Access Code: MON123 --NOT FOR STUDENTS). You will be contacted by EWC's Program Department shortly thereafter.

Login using your username and password to access your information, complete your registration or re-register for the current year.
